Prehistoric Human Brain Found Pickled in Bog

A brain in near-perfect condition was found recently in the skull of a person who was decapitated over 2, 600 years ago. Here's the link to the article from Discovery News.

Thanks to Dr. Doug Shevlin for alerting me to this fascinating find.
Scientists believe submersion in anoxic environment preserved tissue.

Speaking of pickled brains, that's a very nice picture of me. Was taken on my birf-day a few years ago at the Sportsman's Lounge, just a couple of blocks from the hospital. My partners in crime there are my friends Jamie and Triple J.

Thanks for the memories, Dr. Moore.
